BRAVEHART WEIMARANERS

Bravehart Kennel is dedicated to the improvement of the Weimaraner. The intent of this contract is to assure that the dogs produced from this kennel will receive appropriate care and will be protected from indiscriminate breeding, so that the outstanding qualities of health and versatility are enhanced. It is to be recognized that this Weimaraner puppy represents many years of careful breeding and is considered to be of extreme value both to the seller and to the buyer. Therefore the buyer agrees to provide all necessary veterinary services, will protect from injury and will not allow the animal to roam free in the community (i.e., shall maintain the dog in a fenced in area with adequate shelter.)

I, Teresa Byersdorf, agree to SELL a (male/female) Weimaraner for pet/companion. AKC Litter #_______________, whelped __________, sired by ________________, out of ____________, to the buyer ___________________ whose address is ____________________________ Phone_____________________ for the sum of $________. The buyer agrees to pay $200.00 at a time shortly after birth, to reserve the right to purchase a puppy from this litter, this will be a deposit towards the purchase price of the puppy. The balance to be paid at the time of shipping/possession is $______. This animal and registration papers applying to this animal will remain the property of the seller until final payment is made. Deposits are refundable on request or if no appropriate puppy is in this litter.

Buyer agrees to have this animal examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours after possession. Seller guarantees this animal to be free of any and all diseases or defects and in good health to the best of her knowledge unless otherwise stated here ________________. If found unhealthy by said veterinarian within this 48 hours, buyer has the right to return animal for full refund providing the animal has sustained no injury after buyer took possession. The buyer accepts complete responsibility for the health and well being of this animal from date of possession and agrees that loss, death or disablement of this animal shall in no way nullify, lessen or alter his obligation to the seller under the terms of this contract.

The seller guarantees this animal to be purebred and registered or registerable with the American Kennel Club, unless otherwise specified herein, and to be free of any liens or encumbrances resulting from terms of the stud contract, veterinary fees, leases or co-ownerships. The seller further guarantees the parents of this animal to be free of hereditarily caused Hip Dysplasia and have tested Thyroid normal.

Seller guarantees that all shots are current, and deworming accomplished if fecal examination indicated it necessary.

Buyer agrees that this puppy will carry the BRAVEHART name in its registered name.

The buyer agrees that, should he ever decide to part with this dog, that the seller will have first option to buy, at a mutually agreeable price. Should the buyer's situation change in that he can no longer care for this dog, he must notify the seller immediately. The seller will take the dog back or assist in finding a suitable home for it. AT NO TIME will this BRAVEHART dog be surrendered to a shelter or humane society. The seller will always assist in placing this dog. There is also the Weimaraner Club Of America Rescue Group that helps dogs in need so that no Weimaraner ends up in a shelter.

Buyer agrees that no puppies produced by this dog or bitch will ever be sold or consigned to pet shops or other wholesale outlets at any time. Buyer agrees to pay the sum of $3,000.00 as liquidated damages in the event of breach of this part of the contract.

Buyer understands that he has purchased a PET QUALITY dog, that this dog is not considered to be of breeding or show quality, but it is a representative of its breed and structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion and/or obedience dog. This dog is guaranteed for 48 hours against any health or temperament irregularities and it is recommended that the buyer have the puppy examined by a vet during this period. A full refund will be given for any puppy found ill by veterinary exam during the first 48 hours. Buyer agrees that this dog will not be bred and will spay or neuter at the appropriate time. This dog has been sold with "Limited AKC REGISTRATION". This means that should a litter be produced from this dog, the resulting puppies WOULD NOT be eligible for AKC registration. Seller guarantees this puppy to be free of genetic defects which would make it unsuitable as a pet. If the puppy should ever develop a genetic defect that makes it unsuitable as a pet, a refund up to but not over the original purchase price will be provided. To receive refund the puppy MUST be spayed or neutered. Return of the puppy will not be required. No other guarantees are made.

The buyer agrees that, should he not meet any and all terms of this agreement, the seller may repossess this animal, after giving five days written notice. The buyer agrees to pay any lawyers' fees, court costs, traveling and shipping expenses, and other miscellaneous expenses incurred by the seller in repossessing this animal.

Buyer agrees that any further transfers of this Weimaraner are bound by this agreement.

Seller certifies that all statements made in this contract are true and correct to the best of her knowledge.
